I have no idea what to name this post!

Ok, so I've been the Activities Chairman in my ward for like 10 months, and guess what! Today was our 1st party of the year. Yeah I know pretty pathetic. I can come up with excuse after excuse, but what it all comes down to is scheduling. Anyone who knows me knows that I am LATE for EVERYTHING and I am the worst procastinator. Maybe that's why I was called to this job... to help me practice planning. Anyway, so I've been majorly stressed out this week (mostly today) getting all the last minute prep taken care of. It was a crazy day, but now it's all over with! It was fun.. we did a "Fall Festival" and had a little carnival style party in the yard of a member in our ward. It was a blast and all the kids had so much fun. We had tons of little games, including a moonbounce and cotton candy. We also did a chili cook-off. I was surprised at the turn-out considering it was the night of an ASU home game, PLUS Homecoming for the highschoolers (even though they probably wouldn't have come anyway). So all-in-all, it was a success and NOW I CAN BREATH! YEAH!!! Maybe I will actually get some stuff done around my house, get organized and try to live a normal life like the rest of you. OH WAIT!! now I have to plan a CHRISTMAS PARTY! :(  I really so am NOT  a party planner. My kinda parties are the kind where you say, "bring something to share and we'll all hang out or watch a movie". Just play it by ear, ya know? Well, it was a good experience anyway. So anyone have any ideas for Christmas? Oh, and throw in some for a spring party too!! PLEASE! I'm desperate! :)

 

Ok, so moving on, I got to see one of my old good friends today (she lives out east now)! She just had  a baby a couple months ago and came here to do her baby blessing. She is such a cute little baby, serioulsy, so CUTE!  But  I do LOVE little babies. I never thought of myself as a baby person, but after having a couple, I SO AM!  I love them when they're tiny and they just sit on your lap and cuddle. I could hold them forever! Anyway, it was so cool being able to see her, Becky and Becky Rass today, but ya, especially LEXI (inspite of all my stress and running around). THANKS MELISSA!

 

I totally feel like writing and venting today, so sorry for the long posts. Really all people want to see are pictures right? I don't know how all of you have time to do all that you do. It's mind-boggling to me. Do any of you out there sleep at all???? I don't know, I guess when I'm done for the day, I AM SO DONE! So that's why I'm so terrible at keeping up with my blog; it's like if I get started, it takes up the whole night. Then my husband screams at me the whole time "GET OFF THE COMPUTER!!!" Maybe sometimes I do wish he was a sports finatic! haha! :-)

 

Well, hopefully I'll be back soon AGAIN, but then again, the last time I got tons of comments, so maybe I should hold out! :) j/k  Thanks for all your comments guys! I do love getting them, but I am so bad at giving them. I should be better. I just look at everyone's stuff and laugh and nod my head, but I always feel like I have nothing to say. Ok, the master's calling me! better "get off the computer!"
